Exercise Physiology initial consultation
All services start with a thorough health screening, biomechanical, functional, postural, musculoskeletal assessment and specific fitness tests if necessary. Blood pressure and grip strength is usually measured during the initial assessment. A referral is required before initial assessments.
$250 for 90minutes.

Exercise Physiology [land-based]
Hand strengthening, joint mobility exercises, posture training, hand eye coordination activities, functional strengthening for the upper and lower body, core strengthening, balance training, gait [walking] training, respiratory [breathing] exercises, cardiovascular fitness training, muscle flexibility exercises and fine/gross motor activities.
$166.99/hour for 60minutes.

Exercise Physiology combined with Massage Therapy
Remedial Massage Therapy is effective in enhancing blood circulation, muscle flexibility, and enhancing muscle function. Massage helps to manage muscle contractures, spasticity, muscle spasms and pain. Once the muscles are warmed up, lengthened and relaxed, we will perform muscle stretching, joint mobilisation and muscle strengthening. This particular service can be conducted in a wheelchair or electric bed.
$166.99/hour for 60minutes.

Exercise Physiology [water-based] Hydrotherapy
Participate in active exercises independently with support from the Hydrotherapist, Disability Support Worker and supportive floatation equipment. Or participate in passive exercises where the Hydrotherapist moves your limbs for you, stretching your muscles and mobilising your joints. The water environment is one of the best places to learn how to walk again as its easier and less painful. Develop your skills in water then transfer your skills onto land.
$166.99/hour for 60minutes.

Nutritional advice and education
We offer education regarding health eating, meal preparation, cooking, reading food labels and eating take away. As an Exercise Physiologist, we have also studied nutrition at University and we have the knowledge and experience to guide you on what to eat to optimise your health, energy levels, immunity and gut health.
